Nancy's world

Nancy Jensen, a mental health survivor for the past 30 years, is a certified peer specialist/trainer, and advocate for those who are being abused, neglected or exploited by mental health providers. In 2006, she received the Voice Award from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services for speaking out about crimes committed against her and others by Arlen and Linda Kaufman while in residential treatment. In addition to being a key witness at their trial in federal court, Nancy successfully lobbied for the establishment of the Kansas Attorney General's Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation Unit.

This Saturday I am stuck at home

So I was nice, and let Jeff take my car to work at the mall. I then wish I had my car, so if I wanted to go out I could, but knowing me, I would stay home anyway.

As I sit here and wonder what to do that would make my day a good day. I have decided to practice my sessions that I am facilitating the week of the 6th. at the 5-day Basic Certified Peer Specialist training.

I have also decided to put on some Christmas music throughout the house.

I will look on Twitter and Facebook and see what my friends are doing this fine Saturday.

I have a typing project that I have not done for awhile maybe I will do that.

A walk before it gets cold would be smart too.

Well that list seems to be a good one and sharing on my blog is fun.
