Nancy's world

Nancy Jensen, a mental health survivor for the past 30 years, is a certified peer specialist/trainer, and advocate for those who are being abused, neglected or exploited by mental health providers. In 2006, she received the Voice Award from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services for speaking out about crimes committed against her and others by Arlen and Linda Kaufman while in residential treatment. In addition to being a key witness at their trial in federal court, Nancy successfully lobbied for the establishment of the Kansas Attorney General's Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation Unit.

thought i would do my bucket list just in case

here is my bucket list just in case i cannot get rid of the blood clots out of lungs and we can not find where they are coming from.

places i want to go to

NYC
Washington D C
to see friends out east

what i would like to do

speak at Alternatives
have a book about my experience be written
see some old friends again
go meet some others who have made a difference to learn from them.
of course spend time with family and friends
give all i have to the poor
let people know how they have touch my life
